The All-Hazards Incident Management Teams Association, Inc (AHIMTA) was founded in Denver on December 1, 2010. The Association has come a long way in a short time; we have:
- Published the Interstate Incident Management Qualification System Guide;
- Published the All-Hazards Type 3 Command & General Staff (C&GS) position descriptions & position task books;
- Published a Mission Ready Package for Type 3 IMTs;
- A seat on the EMAC (Emergency Management Assistance Compact) Advisory Board.
The Association is now recognized as a primary stakeholder by most national organizations and agencies. This has taken place because of the dedication and commitment of the AHIMTA members.
The Association continues to remain focused on national standards for Incident Management Teams, while expanding its interaction with other organizations/agencies.
First responders, support personnel and recovery organizations are all important additions to our mission and membership, which now includes representatives of:
- Local, State & Federal IMTs
- Fire Service / EMS
- Emergency Management
- Law Enforcement
- Public Health/Hospitals
- Public Works
- Military
- School Districts & others

Membership Dues: $75 per year
Student Membership: $50 per year (max 4-year renewal)
